Recently I became a reviewer for products for Bzzagent. I received a Cross pen to try in the mail. To my surprise, it was packaged very nicely, so nice it could have been perfect for a gift! Another lovely surprise was the interchangeable pencil lead. What a nice thought to go from pen to mechanical pencil if I wanted to, in such a nice instrument. It was so much more stylish then my Dad's cross pen which has a classic feel. This one was still sleek and felt nice in my hand, but was a bit modern with a sleek silver body and a detailed honeycomb pattern.
The one I received is black ink, I prefer blue. Looking over the website, it's so easy to order refill ink, including blue ink! I will be so happy to use the blue ink. Even not liking black ink all that much, it still wrote so beautifully and nicely. No gook, no clumps, just smooth writing. A nice pen really does make a difference.
